I'm super confused about the active Zone Minutes. I recently switched from my Versa to Versa 2 as my Versa died. My lighting bolt icon on my watch NEVER displays anything even after a cardio workout. When I contacted support they told me I had to look in the app for active minutes because the versa 2 now does active Zone Minutes. I'm so confused! Can someone explain this better? What is the difference and why does it never display anything on my watch?

Versa used Active Minutes; (correction: original Versa does use Zone Minutes). Versa 2, along with other current trackers, uses Active Zone Minutes, which are harder to earn but give more credit for higher intensity exercise. This change is generally to go along with recommendation from CDC, Heart Association, etc. The recommended goal for Zone Minutes is 150 per week. Fitbit breaks this down to 20 per day, approximately matching weekly goal if broken down by day.
You can read more about the 2 at What are Active Zone Minutes or active minutes on my Fitbit device?
Zone Minutes are based on heart rate zones. Along with the change from Active Minutes to Zone Minutes, the calculation for heart rate zones have been changed, for most making them harder to reach. The new method takes into account your Resting Heart Rate.
To see more about the heart rate zones, see How do I track heart rate with my Fitbit device? and scroll down to 'What are heart rate zones?'
You can see your new heart zones by clicking on the phone app Zone Minutes.
If you are still insistent on seeing old Active Minutes, last time I checked to fitbit.com dashboard had still not been changed over to Zone Minutes. And the are some third-party clock faces that still show old Active Minutes.

Here's a screen shot of my Versa 1 and it's firmware, along with a current zone minutes screen shot.

I stand corrected. Original Versa now does use Zone Minutes. I guess I was just assuming it did not because OP seemed to be new to Zone Minutes after switching from Versa to Versa 2.

@JohnnyRow Unless they never updated? My zone minutes go back to last August. So it was the Firmware update at that time that did it Hard to tell from the post. It would seem support was talking like they had active minutes as well.
I'd be looking at heart rate. You have to get at least into fat burn zone to get zone minutes. Apparantly that's not happening.
