Yesterday I took off my Versa before working out and came back to it unresponsive. It will vibrate if I hold down the top right button and the green light is still working but it wont display anything. If I hold down any/all the buttons the back light will come on, the screen turns green, then white, then fades to black. I have contacted Fitbit and they are working on helping me but has this happened to anyone else? Why would this happen? I didn't drop it, there are no cracks in the screen, it wasn't wet, it simply just stopped working. This isn't a good sign if I'm having issues already when I've only had it for a month.

Same thing here. Worked fine yesterday, battery at medium so I didnt put it on the charger then this morning everything is blank. I thought maybe it died (even though I didnt get a message about low battery) so I put it on the charger but it's been on for hours and still nothing.

We need to get our act together , there are five different threads going on in this forum about the same problem. Numbers are getting high.
I hope to call tech support tonight to see what they can do. factory reboot , more charge time , praying ,just looking at it and wishing hasn't worked

I just corresponded with Fitbit via their instant message feature. I was
directed in how to do a factory restart and when that didn't work I was
offered a replacement. I chose to do my replacement through Amazon because
I saw on the forum people have been waiting around a month for
replacements. Amazon is delivering my replacement tomorrow and I have 30
days to get my defective versa to them (go Amazon!!). I'm incredibly
disappointed that my 2-week old device is already defective. If the next is
defective it will be a return and we'll be joining team Garmin.
FYI - Here's the information on how to do a factory restart:
Lester R: Okay, to do the factory reset.
Lester R: On the watch, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds.
When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button,
continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the
bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive).
Lester R: When the device vibrates, release all buttons.
Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data.
Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays
Fitbit.com/setup.
Me: I won't be able to know when the logo disappears. I can't see anything.
Me: Should I try to count to 11 and then release the bottom right button?
Lester R: Yes, please.

Same thing happened to me this evening. The display looked wonky and when I went to try and reset, the whole screen went blank and that's it. It almost looks like the brightness is turned up all the way.

My Versa started doing the exact same thing yesterday. I put it on charge and went to shower, came back to a blank, black screen. Tried to restart, it vibrates twice and screen becomes lighter. It still syncs to to my phone and shows that the battery is fully charged on there (has run down to half since last night though). It is completely unresponsive except for the flashing green light.
