Did you mean:

Blaze died, bought a Versa 2 which I'm liking, hoping for some updates though.

So first I'm going to start with the app, some issues I've had for the past couple of years. Way back, I used to connect to the Aria scale. No longer have the Aria scale. Yet my app still says I have the Aria scale. Can we please allow me to delete the Aria scale?

Next, for the hourly "get off yer butt and move" notification, why exactly is it ten minutes? Can you please allow that to be changed by the user? I might want it at the bottom of the hour, or chime every 15 minutes until the Fitbit senses I'm moving. So at 50 to, it buzzes and says I have oh say 123 steps out of 250. Can I set it to 500? Or heck I'm ambitious and want it 1,000. Suppose I made my 250 prior to the 50 to, it doesn't tell me I made my hourly steps. If I didn't of course it'll buzz at 50 to and say I have X steps, but no notice if I made them early? There are times I have to guess.

"Look on the app". And that's where I'm heading. The app showing Hours With 250+ Steps quite frankly is a bit confusing, it's a dot showing each hour. But is it a dot for 8:00 to 9:00? It doesn't have a breakdown of the steps per hour, as I mentioned maybe I want to see if I can do 500 instead.

Getting to the Versa itself. I admit, I'm liking it. There are some issues I do have though. First, swiping to the apps, I can't move them around so I can have my most used on the first page? Sure I can delete them, but right now I have exercise, timer, alarms and relax on the first page, what if I wanted music on the first page instead? Then there's the alarms. Before I could use the app to add, delete or update the alarms, it then synched to the Blaze. Now I have to set each alarm on the Versa?

I'm sure I'll add more as the time goes, I hope we can make some good changes. Thanks.

ok there is another thought, the Flashlight and Torch app. So these make the screen go super bright, right? I can now see in the dark, sure. Except.... I'm looking to see where I'm walking so I won't step on a cat. Which means I'm turning my wrist so the Fitbit is facing down.....and the screen goes off, because it goes off when it's moved away. Now unless I want to keep seeing what's on the ceiling, this doesn't actually work.

(1) You should be able to delete the scale, just tap on it in your list of devices, then scroll to the bottom of the page and it should say "Remove Scale", tap on that.

(2) Regarding the Reminders to Move feature, the idea is to get you moving a little bit at least once per hour. This feature is *not* meant to help you reach your overall daily step goal. Unfortunately you cannot change when you get the reminder (it's always 10 minutes before the hour if you haven't got 250 steps that hour, or no reminder if you did get 250 steps that hour already), nor can you change the 250 steps to any other number. I seriously doubt that either of those will ever get changed, but you can use the "Feature Suggestion" section (https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Feature-Suggestions/idb-p/features) to suggest features you'd like to see implemented (as no one from Fitbit will see your suggestions in these Help Forums). And, yes, the dots in the app are showing whether you got 250 steps from 8:00-9:00 as you suggested.

(3) You can change the order of apps. See my video here on how: https://youtu.be/FcqBjcPPDEA?t=1342

(4) Yes, it seems you now have to set alarms on the device itself (and not via the app).

For the scale, there isn’t an option to remove.

Ah, okay, after a simple Google search I found this help article: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2324

It says "Note: If you use an iPhone and you want to remove a Fitbit Aria scale from your account, you must first remove yourself as a user of the scale. For instructions, see How do I remove someone from my scale?"

That article says to:

  1. Tap the Today tab

, and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap your scale image.
  3. Tap People Using This Scale.
  4. Tap the person you want to remove.
  5. Tap Remove From Scale.

So, basically from the screen shot you posted, tap on "People Using This Scale", then tap on your name, then tap "Remove from scale" (or whatever the text is).

Once you remove yourself, do you see the option to remove Aria from your account? (on the bottom of the screen shot page)

This is an interesting development if true. I'd have thought that Amazon would be the natural suitor. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-fitbit-m-a-exclusive/exclusive-fitbit-considers-whether-it-should...

It's not really a development at this point. Secret sources announced a possible sale?  "Fitbit and Alphabet said that it is their policy not to comment on rumors and speculation."

If it does happen and Amazon is interested, I'm sure they'll be in touch.

Good point it really isn't a development, but it is interesting to contemplate.
