My fit bit Versa main screen has changed to just a blue line for about 10 hours now and can’t get the clock face or the foot steps back

Hi @BCarley Have you tried restarting it several times? A foctory reset (setti gs app on the watch and scroll down to About)? If not give them a try, but please come back here if the issue persists.

@BCarley Welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since it's displaying a blue line on the screen.

In addition to the information that shared @NellyG, please try changing the clock face to one developed by Fitbit. After this, check out if the display shows your stats again.

Keep @NellyG and me know how it goes! Smiley Happy

I had the exact same problem today, and your solution worked.  Picked a new face from the choices and voila I have the time again.  Took a bit of searching to find this, but happy it was a simple fix ...Thanks!

I have the multiple lines on my Fitbit Versa and I can't even get to my settings function on my watch to even factory reset.

@Lyeng, thank you for joining us in this thread and our Fitbit Community. Since your Fitbit Versa is also showing multiple lines on the display, I'd like you to try some troubleshooting steps that have been helpful for this type of issues.

Please restart your Versa as described in this help article. After the restart, change the clock face to one that is developed by Fitbit. Finally, make sure that your watch has enough battery and see if the issue gets fixed.

Let me know how it goes.

I also have blue lines on my screen of my versa lite.  I have reset, reinstalled and done everything but still the blue lines persist.  I have an iphone that it is linked to if that makes any difference?

@sshaw901, I'm sorry for the late response. However, I'd like you welcome you to our Fitbit forums.

I appreciate the time spent trying the restart and re-installation of your Fitbit Versa before contacting our forums.

I'd just like to know if you tried changing the clock face to one developed by Fitbit. This workaround is helpful for this type of issues.

If so, I'll be happy to follow up accordingly.

Keep me posted.

Hi there

Yes I did try change of clock face to Fitbit one as I’d seen this comment on the forum. Unfortunately this didn’t get rid of the lines either and as I didn’t like that clock face I’ve reverted to my old one!

I am experiencing the same issue.  I have tried restarting, resetting and changing faces.  It is going on hour 10 and it is still "updating".  I also have a blue line along the left side of the screen.  I have a Versa Lite.  I can't get to ANY features on the actual FitBit but I can access the app on my iPhone.  The phone is saying it's unable to connect to versa lite.  Yes, I have tried to turn off bluetooth and turn it back on.  My FitBit is like an obsession.  Can anyone help?

My versa 2 is acting up; the screen looks scrambled and there is a blue line on the right-hand side. I can't look to do a factory reset and changing the clock face did not help.

Same thing happened to me. Like someone else on this thread, I had to call FitBit and request a replacement. The unit is fried. I don’t think it is as water resistant as it claims.

You can do this manually. I did, but the screen is just completely failing. Two blue lines down either side. I'm thinking it could be water damage or something even though these are supposed to be water resistant to 30m and all 😟
