Bluetooth headphones keep disconnecting from Versa.

I'm trying to pair my Bose soundsport free ( akak true wireless)  headphones with versa and the connection keeps being dropped. It would connect for a seccond and then immediately disconnect and keep this in the loop .

Any suggestions how to fix it ?

Thanks

Hello @gmikhail, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Tell me, are the headphones disconnecting while playing music? If so, my best recommendation would be removing the headphones from the Versa and pair them again. To do it, please follow these steps:

  1. Open the Settings app in the Versa
  2. Tap on the name of your headphones and then tap Yes to remove it.
  3. Restart your Versa by pressing and holding the Back and Select buttons (left and bottom right) until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen.
  4. Set up the headphones again:
    • Start by activating pairing mode on your Bluetooth headphones, speaker, or other audio device.
    • On your watch, open the Settings app and then scroll down and tap Bluetooth.
    • Tap + Audio Device. Your watch searches for nearby devices.
    • When your watch finds nearby Bluetooth audio devices, it shows a list on the screen. Tap the name of the device you want to pair.

When pairing is complete, a check mark appears on the screen.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.

Thank you

Looks ok for now.

Will try using it later today for a long time to see if it stays connected

I have connected my Versa  with Samsung Gear Icon wireless earbuds and disconnected a couple times but same issue. Every couple of seconds there is a pause in music and after awhile the earbuds disconnect from Versa  due to signal. I am running when this happens.

Today i finally had a chance to test the connection.

It is really bad.

My headphones would disconnect every few seconds and reconnect back.

I've noticed that if i put the hands behind my back with the tracker screen facing the back-it disconnects completely and would not reconnect until i change the position of my hands.

When i'm running the disconnection happens every few seconds , but if i'm putting the wrist on the chest closer to the headphones it remains stable.

I think Fitbit needs to do better work on the Bluetooth, and i hope it can be fixed with the firmware upgrade and not replacing the tracker.

I don't know if it matters , but the music i'm listening to is mp3 files that i've copied to the tracker.

I'm assuming music streaming services (hopefully Fitbit will include spotify client one day ) will suffer from the same issue.

It appears as if 5 years later they still haven't sorted out this issue. It's so frustrating.
