@Steveb0914"Yes, when I go into my Versa > Settings> Bluetooth, there is a "+Audio Device" along with a "Music via Bluetooth" below that with a setting
in blue for "Off", "On" and "Pair". (Tried both the On and the Pair
settings with the same result)" --- That should be off, it is only relevant if music control is via phone. Basically, your G5 earphones are not listed as a device, meaning they are not paired"I tap the +Audio Device (once I have the headphones in Pairing mode) and the Versa immediately finds them. I tap the G5 device that the Versa found and the Versa attempts to connect to the headphones." -- Correct. "Please go to your computer/phone Bluetooth settings and connect the headphones and gives a pin code to connect" -- Ahhh, that's where the problem lies, because there is no option to enter a pincode on the tracker!, and then it won't pair, and that's it. You may need to read the manual for your headphones/earbuds and see how to enable the "justworks" pairing mode (without pin). My earbuds don't require a pin (aka passcode). No matter what, you need to get rid of the fact that the earbuds give you a pincode! Then it will work 🙂  Have a look. Maybe you need to press the on/off button on your earbuds in a different way/longer etc.

It is Simenmax Bluetooth Earbud, and I bought it on Amazon about a year ago. I honestly don't know how old it is.

@Steveb0914   BTW  what I wrote means also that your earphones must be supporting bluetooth 4.2 (justworks pairing was introduced in 4.2; from looking at the web that seems to in order for your earbuds). I could not find so quickly how to force justworks pairing for your earbuds, it may not be possible - then you are out of luck 😞

@Mikaela_MuraskoNot sure if I already wrote it, but are you 100% sure you actually have your earbuds in pairing mode? You may need to check the manual. Usually you have to press the on/off button for some 5 seconds or so, and a little light will start to flash (instead of just turn on). On your Versa, click on +Audio device under settings > bluetooth and it should show up there after some seconds. Then you select it, and the two will pair. But nothing happens if the earbuds are not in pairing mode. Can you also confirm that you can pair the earbuds to your mobile device?

I suspected that might be the case. Thank you for delving into it for
me. I think a new pair of headphones is going to be in my future.

Yes, I am positive that they will pair to other devices. I have an MP3,
computer, and an Ipad and the earbud pairs perfectly fine with them. I have
read the instructions for the earbud and it says once you turn it on it is
in pairing mode.

@Mikaela_Murasko"I have read the instructions for the earbud and it says once you turn it on it is
in pairing mode."  --- Ok, if it says so in the manual... Usually one has to press the on/off button a bit longer like 5s or so. You might want to give it a try no matter what the manual says. Also, the earbuds cannot be connected to another device at the same time! Then it won't work either. You may not realize that it is auto-connects to your PC, MP3 player, IPAD when you turn it on? So you may need to play around a bit with all this.

I'm using inked wireless headphones.  They are being recognized as a device and s teen says it is pairing but it just cycles indefinitely without connecring

Likely you have the same issue I did... your headphones require a code to be entered, which you can't enter on the Fitbit device - an indicator that your headphones are using an older Bluetooth version.

Just bite the bullet and buy a new pair of headphones - that is what I did and the new ones connected effortlessly.

What really sucks is that they worked on my device just fine and one day
just stopped. It's not like they never had worked at all

Please have patience " weeks later still doesn't work

It's wearing thin. I paid additional to upgrade to versa because my blaze
was defective and now the versa appears to be disappointing in a bunch of
different ways. I'm motivated to enjoy the product but the technical
obstacles are making that pretty much impossible.

I just bought Plantronics BackBeat FIT 305 today and it synced okay. I made sure all the bluetooth devices around me were off before I tried to sync it to my versa.

Thanks for the tip. What drives me crazy is that they initially worked then just stopped.

Same for the Huawei Freebuds lite that support bluetooth 4.2, can't pair both earbuds with Versa. It seems that can pair only one earphone, the other one doesn't work or is out of sync.

Hello I'm having a problem connecting my Fitbit Versa to my blackweb wireless headset. I followed both steps on getting the pairing mode operating except my Fitbit seems to just keep spinning in circles and my pairing on the headset turns off after 5 minutes. Unable to connect those headsets to everything else except my Fitbit. How come?
