Bluetooth music volume too high

I have connected two sets of Bluetooth earphones to the Fitbit (an awesome feature!). The issue is the volume range - the lowest possible volume is way too high before it mutes. Contrast with using my phone, I can move the volume much lower before it mutes. Is there a fix for this? Or something Fitbit might fix in the near future with updates? Thanks .
