Brand new Fitbit versa not connecting

Just bought a new fit bit versa and am trying to connect to my iPhone 6s Plus running IOS 13.3 and its not working..I tried the suggestion from other post like going into a room with no blue tooth and deleting app and reinstalling and still can connect..need some help.
