Brand new Versa 2 not reading HR correctly

Good morning!!

I recently, and by recently I mean within the last week, purchased a Versa 2, primarily for the heart rate monitor as i have read it is the most accurate for smart watches.  I’m a professional bodybuilder and I’m very “in-tune” with my body and health.  During my first workout with the Versa 2, the HR was NOT ACCURATE when high intensity lifts were completed.  After completing an exercise, the Versa 2 read 89 while my HR was well over 150.  After 30 minutes of training, i noticed the HR monitor never went above 105 when my actual HR was well over 130 the entire time.  I have read the forums, and all the Fitbit trouble shooting, I’m wearing the device two fingers above the wrist bone, tight but not too tight...

What am i missing here?  If i cannot figure this out, i will be returning as the HR monitor is the #1 reason I bough this watch.

please assist:)

@P.Abraham Welcome! It's good that the community is growing! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Let me help you with your heart rate reading and thank you for following our accuracy tips. I suggest you clean the back of your device with cotton and rubbing alcohol and restart it. Turn the heart rate off, save and sync then turn it on save and sync again. Also excess sweat could be an issue. Several members have commented that using a sport wristband to remove excess sweat from the wrist area has helped them in this regard.

Let me know how it goes.
