I fully charged my brand new Versa before bed last night and went to sleep with it on my wrist at 99% charged. I woke up to a low battery at 18% power. Will sleep tracking drain your device like this each night? Are there settings I should be using to ensure this doesn’t happen or do I have a faulty device?

Hi, no sleep logging will not drain your battery, certainly not in this way. Despite being a new device, try rebooting your watch by pressing and holding the left and right lower button together untillyou see th Fitbit logo flashind, release the buttons. For certainty do that twice. Charge your Versa and see what happens. If the problem persists, then yes you have a faulty device and I would advice you to call Customer Support: https://help.fitbit.com/?l=en_US&cu=1&fs=ContactUs . Good luck!

The reset helped. The second night I slept with my Versa it only drained to 46%. What ultimately resolved the issue was un-syncing Pandora. Apparently that was draining my battery each night. Last night I went to sleep with a full charge and woke up with my Versa battery at 99%. Thanks again for your help!
