Is there a setting that’s causing this that I’m missing because the battery goes from 100% to dead in about 20 hours

I'm having the same problem, only running down in about 12 hours.

Contact support for a replacement. Known issue (fitbit won't acknowledge it's a common issue) and I had mine replaced. So far so good.
