Brand new versa connected to phone but will not set up

I have been trying to set up my brand new fitbit versa. I can get it to pair/connect to the phone but when it goes to the set-up stage, it will not set up. It almost seems like it loses connection to the versa. I also am not able to connect it to my wifi. It will not bring up any wifi options, all it does is continue to do the search, then say "try again". I have searched trouble shooting and tried all those. I attempted to factory reset by holding down all 3 buttons until the logo appears and then letting go of the bottom right button while holding the other 2. It says there should be a strong vibration indicating the reset but i never got the vibration.

Hi @Kaybess89 - glad you found us here in the forum. I have a question - which phone are you trying to connect to? Is it on the list of supported devices? Let us know and we can try trouble shooting from there.

My phone is the LG G7 fit. Its not on the compatable or the incompatable list. I had a versa before and it worked on this phone.
