Broken standard wristband

Little over a year.

Never worn while running, jogging, or working out. Worn in shower three times. Clean snap while worn. No way am I going to put on the perma rash inducing se bands (has contaminated bracelets to create the same watch shaped rash in the same location when tried it on opposite hand...)

After asking me for some information, customer service determined, using information it already had, that I was out of warranty and that nothing will be done.

Amazing.

So why was my case referred to customer service at all, as though something was definitely going to be done? All this experience did is reinforce my determination never to buy Fitbit again, and to actively recommend against it.

I've already ordered a replacement band, since before the automated web script flagged my post. But thanks for taking automated steps to make a bad experience worse.
