Call notifications are not coming through my Versa 3

I have been trying to set up my Versa 3 to receive phone calls from my iphone 12, I have followed the instructions to the letter several times. Each time it seems to complete successfully but when I receive a call nothing happens on the watch.

I have checked all of the permissions in all places and everything is correct.

Hi there, @Fatboydel @Hikergirl365. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. It's sad to hear that your Fitbit devices are still not receiving call notifications despite all the steps you've done so far. I'll be glad to help you!

As a first approach, I'd recommend checking if your Versa 3 is in sleep mode. When sleep mode is on:

  • Notifications, goal celebrations, and reminders are muted.
  • The screen's brightness is set to dim.
  • The screen stays dark when you turn your wrist. To wake your tracker, firmly tap the screen twice.
  • The sleep mode icon illuminates in quick settings.

If the above doesn't describe your issue, I'd recommend following the tips and recommendations provided here Why don't on-wrist calls work on my Fitbit device?

Been through all the setup routines several times, just doesn’t work.

And now it keeps losing the bluetooth connection, really regret buying this, my old fitbit was solid, this Versa 3 just doesn’t work properly.

@Fatboydel  I, too was no longer able to receive call notifications via my Versa 3 watch, but was able to solve the issue as follows.

In the Fitbit app on my Android phone, I opened my Versa 3 watch, clicked Notifications, and at the top of the screen I saw a warning message saying something along the lines of "your phone is not on vibrate thus your Versa 3 won't receive calls". I turned my phone ringer back on, called myself from another phone, and this time my watch started vibrating as I was receiving the call. It seems to be working properly now, ever though I turned the phone's ringer back to silent... go figure.

Also, I will say that I was having problems with Versa 3 Controls no longer pairing or appearing in my phone's Bluetooth devices, but got that fixed before I found the aforementioned fix.

Hope this helps.

@FatboydelI had this same problem with my Versa Lite.  I followed these instructions and the problem was resolved.  The only thing I had to do in my situation was turn on the Notification Center for the apps I wanted to receive notifications for.

Select "How do I set up notifications" then select "iPhone and iPads"
