Calorie burn and heart rate almost doubled

My calorie burn and heart rate almost doubled after last update on June 12th.  Called to report, received an email on how to do a hard shut down; that didn't work.  There was NEVER a vibration or a display on screen.  I've performed this procedure multiple times and it has never worked. Now, it won't swipe or respond to touch.  Fitbit support isn't offering any help.  Never had any issues until the last update.
