Calorie count massively higher than it should be

I've had my Versa since release. I had a fairly busy work week (on my feet/running around) and was blowing past my 3,000 goal early into my day (pre gym) so I adjusted it (and steps) to make my goal a little out of reach again. Since that event, my Fitbit has been averaging about 6,000 (some days as high as 8,000) and I have NOT been moving as much (and some of these days no gym either). I noticed it being a definitive issue when, at 7am on a "desk day" my watch vibrated to celebrate 4,000 calories burned. I have done a full hard reset and resync but am still having this issue.

Is there a way to recalibrate?

Don't know if this will display properly, but Oct is when the change happened and the days under 4,000 I can tell you I didn't wear my watch all day, if at all.
