Calories burned and Nutrition info WAY off

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Yesterday and today only some of my calories burned seemed to track/sync but my steps and activity are updates?

I have been running a 1000 calorie deficit using the auto settings in app and inputting all of my meals. My typical day is 3,500 or so burned, 1,600 consumed or so. It’s telling me I burned 1,400 calories which is in no way possible.

I’ve tried all basics like connecting/disconnecting, powering on and off, I’ve uninstalled the app and reinstalled, checked for updates, I’ve checked my online dashboard instead of app (also wrong).

Help maybe? 🤷🏻‍:female_sign: maybe it’s just time for an upgrade. (Versa 2)

I'm confused about one thing.  First you say you typically burn 3,500 calories per day, but then you say it's saying you burned 1,400 calories.

Are you saying it's just in the past 2 days it's switched to saying 1,400 calories instead of typical 3,500 calories?

Or are comparing 2 different ways of measuring calories burned?

If the fitbit calorie burn reading just dropped the past 2 days, check your weight.  That could be caused if you just entered your weight way too light.

In any case, that doesn't sound like anything that would be solved by an upgrade.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Normally I burn in the 3,000 area, and the last two days with no difference in activity levels or steps, my calories burned were not tracing or syncing, only showing 1,400. Like it only tracked for part of my day or something,  but it finally updated properly when I synced for the first time this morning! I’m not sure what happened.

I did double check all my weight and nutrition info and such.

It was showing I burned 1,498 as of last night, and updated to the correct 2,994 burned as of this morning. It was just interfering with me calculating my last meal of the day, but I just ate/tracked as usual in the hopes it would update and it did!

seems to have resolved itself, but thank you for trying to help. It’s been used heavily for three years so I thought perhaps it wasn’t working right anymore.

Weirdly enough it did it AGAIN last night. Tried to sync end of day and it stopped at 1,401 then synced to the proper amount with my first sync this morning. I’m going to sync constantly today and see if I can figure out which point in the day it’s stopping at.
