My Fitbit says I burned 1000 calories during a 1,5h powerwalk.
This cannot be accurate, can it? But it's also confusing to me that a newer version like Versa would be so wrong.
Can I trust the calories burned?

Check that your correct height and weight information are in your profile.

They are, I checked it. Any idea what else could make the calorie burn be so off?
Other people I've asked, that use other types of fitbit or other brands, say that when they go for a walk for as long as I did, it shows they burned around 4-500 calories, not 800-1000. But how could the latest and "best" fitbit be so off? Doesn't make sense to me.

Mine is doing the same thing. I went for a walk, just over an hour long and it says I burned 936 calories. realistically it was half that. I double checked my height, gender, weight and they're all correct. Any ideas?
