Is anyone having a problem with the Versa and its ability to change the calories burned in the daily activity. Every time I change mine to 3000 calories as my goal it changes it back to 3211. also on older fitmit 2000 steps would give me a distance of 1 mile. with the versa 10000 steps gives me 5.9 miles.

Hello @ShamTilak, thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

Thanks for bringing this issue to my attention. Tell me, are you trying to change your "calories burned" goal through the app? If so, please go to the online Dashboard and on the Today panel, then hover the mouse over the lower portion of the panel for the Settings option to appear, click on it.

In here, change your "calories burned" goal and click on Done. Then, you will be able to see the goal change.

Now, when it comes to the discrepancy between steps and distance. Fitbit devices calculate distance by multiplying your walking steps by your walking stride length and multiplying your running steps by your running stride length. By default, we calculate your stride length using your height and gender.

If your distance measurement seems inaccurate, follow the steps below to calculate your stride length and then add it to your Fitbit account. To measure your walking stride length:

  1. Go to a track or some place where you're sure of the distance.
  2. Count your steps as you walk across that distance, making sure you travel at least 20 steps.
  3. Divide the total distance (in feet) taken by the number of steps to get your stride length.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.
