I literally just woke up and my Versa is saying I have burnt 660 calories? How do I fix this?

Fitbit's algorithm is set up to estimate all your calorie expenditure including your Basic Metabolic Rate (BMR) which is that which maintains your temperature, keeps you breathing, keeps your heart pumping, brain working and all your organs active. The BMR estimate is based on your gender and stats (height, weight). Activities such as walking, exercising, etc. are added to the BMR. The total calorie expenditure is important to folks who use Fitbit for weight control. You can check the accuracy of your BMR by checking various websites for BMR calculators.
At this time there is no provision in Fitbit to strip out BMR. You can track calorie expenditure of specific exercises by using the manual tracking or Fitbit's automatic tracking for the various activities.
