Hi I understand that we burn calories at night but I tend to not wear my Fitbit and it still states a number of calories burnt when I put it on in the morning - is this normal
Also sometimes if I do wear it overnight when I get up and take it off to shower then put it on again to go to work it then states my sleep pattern I woke up at the time I put it back on
Does anyone else have this issue

Hello @MaxineM10 and welcome to the Community. Fitbit will add your BMR calories even if you aren't wearing your Fitbit, so this is normal. The heart rate LEDs are supposed to turn off when you take your Fitbit off. Sometimes they don't turn off and users say they get data when they aren't wearing their Fitbits. This is a possibility.
