Calories on Versa Lite too low for workouts

I recently got a stationary bike and have noticed quite a large discrepancy on the calories burned during working out. For a 35 minute bike ride going 9-10 mph (a total of 5.5 miles), the stationary bike told me I lost 270 calories while my versa told me I lost 115. I have used additional tools online that confirm my bike is more accurate than my Fitbit. I read a solution about logging the exercise as a workout instead of as spinning and changing it manually afterwards, but that did not solve the problem. I have noticed that calories burned seemed low in the past during walks as well. What can I do to fix the accuracy of the calories burned?

Thanks!

Hello @Chibik and a warm welcome.  My first suggestion is to make sure your sex, height and weight are correct in your profile.  This basic information is used for calorie burns.  I'm sure you set it up correctly when you set up your account, but weird stuff happens.  Second, Fitbit recommends wearing your tracker three finger widths from the bony part of your wrist during exercise to get better heart rate data.  Your calorie burn depends on an accurate heart rate.

See if this helps.
