Hello @shal49 and welcome to the Community. Unfortunately, the answer is no. Rowing isn't available as an Exercise shortcut. The best option is to use the Workout shortcut.

Doesn't work properly with the erg. Nor is step counter correct. I use a pedometer and the difference is usually approximately 3000 steps a day, the pedometer showing less steps than the Fitbit. Heart rate constantly doesn't register and zero 02 recording. Very disappointed because it cost over $200 and basically works improperly.

@Joetrott1 It makes sense that the pedometer when show less steps. Fitbits aren't pedometers, they are activity trackers. They measure activity via wrist-based movements. Your pedometer, I'm assuming, is clipped to a waist band or pocket and therefore is not impacted by your arm movements.
If you are having issues with the heart rate recording properly, I would restart your device. Maybe even factory reset. If none of that works, I encourage you to reach out to Customer Support.
