A warm welcome to the Community @olitousi.
Regarding your question, no, you can't download Spotify music to your Versa. I recommend taking a look at the Spotify for Versa request, vote for it and leave your comment.
What you can do is controlling your music with your watch. You just need to check the How do I control music with my Fitbit device? and follow the instructions provided there to do this.
I hope this helps, see you around.

I'm also a Spotify music subscriber. As for play Spotify on Versa, you should download your playlist from Spotify at first. Then you need to convert Spotify music to MP3 with best Spotify music converter for Mac. After that, you can sync Spotify music to Versa for offline playback easily. For more details, please refer to Play Spotify on Fitbit Ionic/Versa? Solved!

With all do respect, how has Apple, and even Garmin, managed to make Spotify apps while Fitbit hasn't? Everyone and their unborn child knows Spotify is superior. You're going to continue to lose customers...😑

@neptunec Nopes. Google is superior. 😄 heh
@JerrySmith1021 Yes. It can be done. Anything can be converted to MP3 and loaded to Versa. There's only one issue though. First, one needs to strip DRM and that's exactly what the solution proposed by you does. Hm. Kinda illegal. 😛 That's why Fitbit does not recommend this particular solution.

Totally agree! I am not going to pay another $10/mo when I am already subscribed to an awesome service, ahem, Spotify. Spotify IS superior, no question. This comes from someone who has used Amazon music, iTunes, Pandora, SoundCloud...(no loyalty). Tried Spotify and have not and will never leave. If you are a serial music listener, then Spotify reigns supreme, especially for the price. Wish I had this in my car instead of Sirius(that I also pay for). I just sync it w/ Bluetooth, for now. 😎👍

Man.. I'm sorry but spotify is way better than pandora. Last I checked pandora wont let you make your own playlist. Why would you go pandora when you can't even use it outside the USA. Come on fitbit... tighten up.. starting to wish I got the Samsung watch instead.

Hi Jerry
Which programme did you use to transfer spotify files to mp3? And did you use your laptop or phone? As I cant use both at the same time or it logs my account out. My PC also doesnt seem to pick up my watch so its a real stumbling block! I am probably just going to return the watch, the spotify issue for me is a complete dealbreaker! Clare
Sorry how do you manage to use spotify offline on your fitbit?Thank you

I also used to have this issue with my Versa. My solution was a little too troublesome. I downloaded music with the SaveFrom service from my PC. Then I would use OmniConverter which I found here okaapps.com to convert it to a suitable format and only then download it. This whole process was really annoying to do every time I wanted to add music to my playlist. You can imagine my happiness when I switched to a different fitness tracker that just supported Spotify downloads. Good Luck!

Sorry to say that you can't download Spotify to Fitbit Versa devices. Nowadays, you can control music playing on your nearby phone with certain Fitbit devices. For Fitbit Ionic, Fitbit Sense, and Fitbit Versa series. But it doesn't mean that you can download music to your Fitbit watch.
If you really need to do that, you need to draw support from a third-party tool, called AudFun Software, which can help you convert Spotify songs as local files and then you can upload them to your Fitbit Versa watch with the help of the Fitbit Connect app.
