Can I change the setting on Versa to only show the sender of a text message? I hate that it shows the message, i only want it to show the sender like it did on my Alta hr. This is a huge nuisance.

@Hanmarflo you can try this 3rd party app. I used it for many years before switching to Versa built-in notifications. Just a quick note, you wont be able to access quick replies as the whole process will be managed by the 3rd party app.

Hey @cocoashadow, let me give you a warm welcome to the Community! Well, I don't have an answer for your question, but maybe our team wanted to take advantage of the bigger screen of the Fitbit Versa, so they decided that the contact name, or just number, and the content of the message was visible. Unlike the Charge 2 that won't allow you to fully see notifications longer than 40 characters. It could be the case, but I'm not sure.

@cocoashadow This 3rd party app creates a Notification Listener Service that redirects your notifications. Versa and Charge 3 are running entirely different Fitbit OS and the Fitbit mobile app processes the text notifications from 3rd party apps (such as Fit Notifications) differently.
