Just purchased the versa 2 , if I pair it with strava which I have done and I go swimming outdoors will it show me how far I have swam in km / m in the strava app ?

Congrats on your new Fitbit Versa 2. Thank you for your question.

 

Your watch tracks your swim duration and distance based on the pool length you entered on your Fitbit account. The GPS signal is not activated during a swimming session.

 

Note the following types of activities won't sync to Strava:

  • Non-GPS activities
  • Previous activities that weren’t tracked by Strava.
  • Duplicate activities—that is, if you already recorded an activity with Strava, a Fitbit activity that occurs at the same time won't sync.
