Can I set an interval of more than 55 min on Versa 3?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Previously, the duration of an interval workout could exceed 55 minutes. Now it is not possible. The new operating system requires the user to start a new workout at the end of the 55 minute workout in order to continue doing an interval workout that is 65-75 minutes long. (thereby messing up the intervals entirely, btw) The new version is a huge step BACKWARDS. Please consider letting the interval workout function as it did before this current version on my Versa3.

I'm very disappointed with the Versa3. I loved my previous Versa! I don't understand making a product less functional. I am dismayed by the community support pages and listings that are from 2014. The level of support is not as it once was, that is clear by the pages. I would not recommend this device to someone considering smart watch options. I was a huge cheerleader. For someone really wanting to work out, Garmin or Apple seem to be the better choices. That is very sad.

I don’t now what else to say. I am aware that on the Versa 3 all of the setting are now on the watch itself and NOT on the app. But, I am unable to do a workout for longer than 55 minutes After a long phone call with FitBit technical services, I was told that it was simply no longer an option.

Can you please share with me HOW you are able to get the tracker to continue an Interval workout for more than 55 minutes? That would make me very happy! 😊

@jlc13248   I can't explain your experience.  I will admit that my previous workouts were less than 45 minutes.  But I changed my interval settings and did a 65 minute workout before responding to your post and a 70 minute workout today.

Where does the system break down for you?  Does your Versa 3 accept the settings or not?  Does it stop at 55 minutes, even though it accepted your settings?

This is what I did this morning.  I set the move spinning wheel to 2:00, then tapped to confirm.  I set the rest to 8:00 and tapped to confirm.  I set the number of reps to 7, tapped to confirm, and it said total time 1:10:00 and it worked perfectly.

Hi there, @jlc13248@LZeeW Thanks for stopping by to help our member.

@jlc13248 I've moved your posts to this new thread in the Versa 3 board so you can receive more related responses. Thanks for the detailed information, and your efforts while contacting our Support team. Before anything else, as our friend mentioned, let me clarify you can set an interval for up to 18 min and 55 seconds. To make sure the correct steps are being followed, let me recommend this help article.

On the other hand, if you'd like to set an interval for more than the said time, I'd recommend posting this idea in the Feature Suggestions board so our developers can take it into consideration for new updates or product development. To learn more about this board, see our FAQs.
