I am looking to buy a Versa 3 . Its my first Smart Watch and I am a bit of a technophobe!! All of my other devices are Apple and I have Apple Music.

I understand that Fitbit does not support Apple Music? I guess that means that I can't listen to Apple Music via wifi from the phone??......

But - can somebody tell me if I can download music from Apple Music to the Versa 3?? I have just spoken to a customer assistant from Currys who has told me I def can.  But I have Googled and not so sure.

Can somebody on here help me please - in non techy language??!!

Hi there, @Alison547. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post and for your interest in getting the Versa 3. I understand where your concern is coming from.

Please note on Versa 3 you cannot store personal music. At this moment, you can use Pandora and Deezer to listen to music, or Spotify to control music playing on your nearby phone.

Since when can you use Spotify to listen to music on the Versa 3? I have a premium account and it is just a glorified remote as far as I can tell.

Hi @Lola421 - actually there are advantages to not using the Spotify remote control app and using the inbuilt music controls instead

  • It means you don't have stop whatever app or clock you are using
  • You don't need Spotify premium
  • You can control the volume
  • You can control any other music playing on your phone

@Lola421   You are correct about Fitbit and Spotify.  It is Spotify - Connect & Control.  Fitbit hasn't changed its relationship with Spotify.  You still need to have your phone with you when you use Spotify.

While that may be advantageous to some, my headphones already do all those things.
