Can I turn off the screen on my Versa 2 when a notification comes in?

Is there a way to stop the versa 2 screen from waking and displaying notifications from texts, snapchat, etc... and just vibrate with the notification alert? I never use to mind the screen waking during covid but now I'm back in the office and whenever I get a msg the screen lights up with displaying the message alert. Seems there should be an option to only vibrate to prevent others from seeing everything.
