The mysterious person or algorithm behind the chat said I could wear my Versa 3 in salt water. I do see that I am supposed to clean it with fresh water if I get anything on it, but I don't really trust the chat advice. Any other experiences with snorkeling with your Versa? I bought the extended warranty just in case!

Hi there, @Hamlin. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post. I understand where your concern is coming from.
Although the Versa 3 is water-resistant to 50 meters, I have seen that sea water (salt water) tends to damage many electronic devices, so it's always recommended that you follow the steps listed in the Wear & Care guide, and to dry the watch before wearing it.
Keep in mind that these devices are more designed to be worn at a pool, river or lake, so I wouldn't recommend to use in salt water for a prolonged period of time. You can find all the information in this article.
@Tonio08 Thanks for sharing your personal experience!

I live in the Caribbean and ocean swim as much as 4 times a week. I simply rinse it after I swim when I get home. No issues here.
