Can Versa 2 broadcast heartrate to cycling computers?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I'm a cyclist. I use a Garmin Edge bike computer on my rides. It's capable of picking up broadcasted heart rates so I can see my heart rate as I ride, and see a combined view of the ride and heart rate after. Right now a use a Garmin Forerunner on my wrist and it broadcasts to the computer....  it works pretty well.

I'm considering the Versa. Does the Versa broadcast heart rate in a way that other devices can pick it up?

Thanks!

N

@Funkycoles Welcome to the Community. Thanks for your interest in the Fitbit Versa 2.

I'll be happy to clarify your question. Fitbit Versa 2 won't connect to your Garmin Edge bike, however you could track your biking activity using your Versa 2 and your data will sync to your Dashboard.

Additionally, you can check the Versa 2 page to learn all the features that comes with it.

I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

Thanks for your answer! I couldn't find detail on it anywhere. I figured
that was probably the case.

Can the Garmin Connect details be imported in to the FitBit dashboard? I
want to see all of the information about my ride in one place... route,
incline, heartrate, etc...

@Funkycoles Thanks for getting back. I appreciate the research done prior posting.

It's not possible to import Garmin data into Fitbit Dashboard. However, you may want to post your idea in our Feature Suggestion board, those are reviewed by our team and the status changes based in Fitbit's plans.

I'll be around if you have any additional question.
