I’m having progressively frequent problems with my versa. First it was the battery life decreasing to less than a day.  Now the heart rate monitor has stopped and the green light stopped coming on.  I have tried all the tricks on this for forum and nothing has helped.

I’ve not heard anything from them.  Expensive dust catcher....😢

Having the same issue and since they are only covered by warranty for one year there is no replacement. $200 for a watch for 13 months use...I’ll not make the same mistake again purchasing another **ahem**.

I am also having this issue. I’m disappointed because I loved my versa. After reading all of these posts, I may just purchase an Apple Watch. $200 down the drain!

I went on the app and help.. chatted with a agent and they did a couple tests and replaced it.

I spoke with Fitbit and I’m past 365 day warranty. No replacement for me. What a waste of $200. I will never buy another Fitbit. Going to buy an Apple Watch.

I got my Versa for Xmas last year.  Battery was decent, 3/4 days.  Now it only lasts ! day at the most.  Just tried restarting.  If this doesn't work, what are my options??

I totally agree, I had the charge 2 and never had this issues. I'm very disappointed. I think they should replace our versa lite with a better product. I've only had mine a few months and already having problems. 😔

Luckily I bought the Extended Warranty and just submitted a claim. Looks like I can get a replacement for $25. I'll let you know how it goes.

Contact Fitbit IMMEDIATELY. They will be able to replace since its within the year warranty.

Omg. Me too. And it basically happened overnight. My battery was fine and now I can literally watch it drain right in front of my eyes. Barely lasts 12 hours with no tracking.

I'm having the same issue I contacted fitbit was told my fitbit is over a year old they offered me a 25% discount I'm in Canada a Versa is still $249. I asked for advice on how to extend the battery because I can't afford to replace it right now and was told they have Done all they can. So I to may be looking at other alternatives which is unfortunate because I loved my first 3 fitbits and the app but after how rude Paola was on chat it may sway my opinion!

Mine dropped from 4 days to less than one day in a day..This is built-in obsolescence or faulty battery choice for so many of us having the same problem. I will not trust this company again without a two year battery warranty or a replaceable battery. This is a replacement for my first versa which died with a battery problem the second week. Waiting for my wife's versa now to suffer the same fate. Not happy.

I have been having the same issue and they could not resolve it.  I have had the Versa for just at a year and 2 months.  Since they only have a 1 year warranty, I am sure they are aware that the battery doesn't last that long and forces people to purchase a new watch.  They offered me a 25% discount on a new watch but I don't feel like spending another $200 each year for a watch.  My Garmin lasted almost 5 years but I fell into the FitBit fad... So not worth the money!! I am completely disappointed in this company and how they have their warranty knowing that they have a repeating issue.

I am having the same problem as everyone anyone. My watch is only 6 months old and battery does not even last a day... very disappointed and will go Garmin in future. Any suggestions on this as it should be under warranty still. If I turn off all notifications and follow suggestions, what is the point of having this watch?

Thanks

I’ve been a Fitbit user since 2012 and thinking my Versa is going to be my last Fitbit product. The the amount of money I’ve spent on these watches it seems that the battery is only lasting until it’s out of warranty then it dies. No trade in programs and no way to change the battery! But yet they want me to spend $200+ again for a mediocre at best product. My steps don’t sync in the work week hustle and my battery needs to be charged almost daily. And the only “fix” is to buy a new one. Time to go into research mode.

I have been having the same problem..obviously a problem.  I have had the Versa for close to 2 years and it has been the last 6 months that suddenly it would drain. I charged it last night and right now it is at 76%.  If I don't charge it tonight it will definitely be dead tomorrow morning. I don't use tons of things on this, but I do like the heart monitor and the message notifications. Not sure if I want to buy another or go the apple route. I don't have an apple phone so not sure how that would work. Or maybe just go back to an old fashion watch..lol.
