There are tutorials on the internet how to replace the battery. But, that battery costs circa US$60 + shipping.
Chances you putting it back together unless you are a component level electronics engineer & getting a working unit again?
I very much doubt it.
EXTEND RECHARGEABLE BATTERY LIFE.
Always run the battery to flat.
Always charge to full.
Never charge in between cycles.
Buy a USB voltage checker & do not use cheap USB chargers.
Apple Samsung etc., are recommended.
Never leave your FitBit on charge overnight (or your phone) and as soon as you see 100% charged take it off charge.
Overcharging 'leaving on charge for too long' and under charging 'between cycles' drastically reduces battery life of any device.
Cheap USB chargers do not always detect the device is fully charged & will still deliver voltage will 'overload' the battery. On a Versa this could pop the screen off as the battery balloons & expands in the case. On your phone depending on make or model it will pop rear case off or again lift the screen as again the battery balloons. This is but one step back from and the battery close to exploding by the way!

I’m having the same issues. Battery doesn’t last long and sometimes it’s days before I can get it to charge again. I’ve tried the restart and turning on and off. Didn’t make any difference. What are the next options?

I’m also having trouble not receiving my messages. It seems every since the new Versa came out I’ve been having issues with my old. Coincidence...I think not!

Not sure, but I've read you shouldn't fully discharge lithium batteries.

I am having the same issue. I've had my versa since Christmas last year 2018. My battery recently began draining very quickly, not even lasting a day., always dying in my sleep.

Get a hold of customer service immediatly. You have a year guarantee, they will send you a new one, once they check out the battery draining problem.

From reading others messages, I see that there is no battery replace. It hasn’t even been s year since my purchase! If I don’t get a replacement on this, I am definitely NEVER purchasing another fit bit device again!!! Pretty disappointed!

I charged my battery before I went to bed - went to 100 Put it on and went to bed and it was dead before I woke up. I bought it not even 8 months ago.
My moms Charge two is still a perfect battery and she’s had it for 2 years now
whats wrong with my versa!?

Very unhappy customer! Wish I had read Forum before purchase.
1st purchase just a year ago. Took it off while in hospital and Versa died, all I get is a faint light behind a black screen. Battery? Won’t do anything being charged. App? Uninstalled everything and started over several times. And now I read how others have had same issue, I now believe this well known brand isn’t worth the price of admission.
2nd problem, while fussing with problem 1 ( which I surely thought was repairable) I purchased a Fitbit Charge as a Christmas gift. The Charge comes with it’s own set of problems straight out of the box. Features advertised on the box do not work, again App was deleted and reloaded several times. This one will be returned!
This is one Very Unsatisfied Customer that can not recommend any Fitbit Product, sad isn’t it!?

I feel your pain. My warranty was up a week ago. My versa won't hold a days worth of charge. Buying an Apple.

Same for me! After only a year my Versa started discharging super fast. It last me about 24 hours .... Super annoying! I'll find a way to change de battery as I am not buying a new watch after a year and a half...

Same! I've had my Versa for about a year and a half. After one year the battery started to last less and less. Now, it doesn't even last 24 hours. I don't want to turn off all notifications, etc. I want to use the watch with all the features. It's very frustrating that there is no way to just replace the battery. Specially in 2020 when we keep saying we need to be careful with environment. So I'm supposed to just throw my watch in the garbage and buy a new one at 200$+taxes every year? Its ridiculous and I won't be buying a Fitbit watch anymore.

I am having the same problem...lasted less than 14 months...right outside the warranty period. & they want me to buy another watch for 25% discount! This absolutely not I am going for Apple watch now so that I can get something more durable and stable. Per year cost to use apple watch will be much much lower than $200 per year for fitbit.
