This is a thread that should only answer the question of whether someone has successfully replaced a Versa battery. As far as I know, it has not been done. Someone has replaced the battery, which Ebay sells, in their Blaze.

I am having the exact same problem! I have had my fitbit for 7 months and the battery used to last approx 4 days. All of a sudden it and started lasting less than 1 day! I have read the tips on how to save battery life but what is the point in having the watch if I have to disable the features just to have the battery last longer ? in 7 hours the battery is gone and sometimes I wouldn't have even used it to track my workout during this time. Help 😞

Same here. This all started suddenly, around March 18, 2020. I have tried all of the recommended strategies, several times, and the battery does not even last 24 hours. I’ve bought 2 Fitbit Ones, and two verses, but I’m now considering how much better life would be with my analog watch... or an Apple Watch. At least the Apple Watch wouldn’t need to be charged so frequently.
I’m frustrated with the lack of support and reasonable alternatives/solutions.

I have tried all of this and my husbands watch does even last a full day, with 100% charge in the morning, will only last til lunch time.

My Fitbit versa is almost 2 years old and worked great, but the battery all of a sudden stopped holding a charge around March 18th. I have followed all of the tips and tricks, did a master reset, etc.
How do I get this fixed or a new one?
thank you

I'm sorry to say, but you don't... Your watch is out of warranty. I contacted Customer Support, and they provided no support whatsoever. Customer Support wasted my time by asking silly questions, only to eventually tell me the watch is out of warranty, so there is nothing they can do... except give me a 25% discount on a new watch, but only if I buy it on Fitbit.com... It's probably better to buy it from Sams or Costco.
I am now borrowing a Series 3 Apple Watch from my brother-in-law... and it's AWESOME! Finally, I can reply to texts from my watch! It's really been great. Sure, the battery life is as good, but the one I am using lasts for ~2 days... but the charging process only takes about 30-45 minutes at the most.
You can probably get a Series 3 Apple Watch for less than the cost of a new Fitbit, and it has so many more features! I'm disappointed I didn't go this route to begin with.
Best of Luck!

Thank you for the details. The strange thing is that it worked perfectly for exactly 23 months and it was like a timer went off and stopped charging! It happened so quickly, not a gradual draining process like you have with most rechargeable battery items. It went from 5 days to 2 overnight. I’ll definitely switch to Apple!

I am having trouble with my Versa 2 battery keeping a charge. I have only had the watch less then 3 months. How can I get help? I have turned off almost all notifications and changed most settings and I still cant keep my watch charged 24 hours. I am very disapointed in the amount of money spent for 3 months.

Contact support. They'll probably have you do a battery test, and go from there.

All you can do is try. I would. Try waiting for chat support? E-Mail them? Send a Twitter message?
Unless you bought somewhere like ebay, you should be under warranty. I'd get moving on it. I had support issues with a couple other companies and got them resolved. There are less people available for support right now, but if you want to get it done bad enough, you can and will.

I am so done with Fitbit. I struggled with Fitbit V/s Apple Watch but went with Fitbit Versa.
I can’t tell you how many Fitbits I’ve bought but they don’t last.
No more, Apple products last AND I’ll be able to change the battery. Who makes a $200. watch that doesn’t have a replacement battery!!Really?😡
