Can answer calls on Versa 3, but I can't hear anything

Can anyone help? I got my Fitbit versa 3 for Christmas and although I’m glad i can receive and answer calls no one can hear me properly on the other end it’s very frustrating!?

I'm having the same problem with my versa 3.  Everything else works,-notification, volume, switch between phone and watch, I can hear them but they can't hear me through watch

Hi there, @Mel3461 @SunsetRunner. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa 3. I understand how frustrating this can be. 

If you haven't done so yet, please check the following requirements:

• Make sure she's using the latest version of the Fitbit app. For more information, see How do I use the Fitbit app?
• Make sure her Fitbit device is up-to-date. For more information, see How do I update my Fitbit device?
• Keep the phone nearby with the Fitbit app running in the background. Her phone should be within 30 feet (10 meters) of your watch.
• Call notifications must be turned on. For more information, see How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device?

If you continue having issues, try the following troubleshooting steps:

1. On the phone, turn Bluetooth off and back on.
2. Restart the Fitbit device once gain. For instructions, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?
3. Remove Versa 3 Controls from the list of Bluetooth devices on your phone.
4. Set up on-wrist calls again. For instructions, see How do I set up on-wrist calls on my Fitbit device?

Note that Versa 3 Controls might be listed as “Not Connected” in the list of Bluetooth devices on your phone. When you receive a phone call, the controls automatically reconnect. This feature requires more frequent charging.

On a side note, please note that if you're trying to connect any headphones while using on-wrist calls, specially Airpods, at this time Fitbit smartwatches can't control the volume on Apple Airpods.

Thanks Marres.  I have the latest update and I've done all of the above several times with no resolution on this problem.  I was not using headphones so that is not an issue
