Can i use a Versa to activate music on my Android

about to buy a Fitbit Versa( i think) i would like to be able to use the watch to "talk" to my android that will be connected to my stereo..
i am a dance teacher, and using a watch to tell my phone to play pause rewind etc wold be AWESOME

i have friends that do this via IPHONE/ Iwatch..

Is this possible with Fitbit?

Help before i buy it and it doesn't have THIS type of feature...

Hello @saroniki and a warm welcome.  I am attaching a link to the Versa Manual.  If you go to page 52-53 of the manual, it says that this is a feature for Android phones, but apparently not from a Versa to an iPhone.  I am an iPhone user, so I can't try it out for you.

 

If in doubt, be sure to buy your Versa directly from Fitbit.  Fitbit has a 45 day, no questions asked return policy.
