Can i use versa without connected mobile phone.

I am having lg v30 and i know it wont synch with versa or either gets connected, so i am planning to connect versa to my nexus 5 which i will keep in my home , so after my gym workout and runs when I reach home will versa connects automatically and synch data.

That arrangement should work if the phone is on the Approved Devices list (I couldn't tell because you didn't give Brand). It should automatically sync if you use "All Day Sync" setting but I personally recommend keeping that setting off because of excessive power use.  I sync my trackers manually several times a day.
