Can my Versa and Polar chest strap work together for more accurate HR data during workouts?

Ive been looking into getting a new tracker due to heart rate inaccuracy in my versa whilst doing my workouts. I looked into the Polar brand and then discovered the chest strap. Using the chest strap with my versa for more accurate heart rate tracking during my workouts would solve all my problems. Is this possible to connect them so I can get my heart rate info from the chest strap and see it either on the Fitbit app or on my device.
