I seem to have a problem updating the firmware on my Fitbit Versa. The app says that there is a firmware update available, and show a pink circle with a white arrow pointing downward on a white bar, but when I press on the circle all that happens is that the screen goes to the right and show a blank screen, and then a pink loading circle show up. But a split second after the loading circle appears the screen just goes back to the dashboard. If I press the download icon again the same thing happen. I have tried to restart both the phone and the Versa itself, but it doesn't help. The connection between the phone and the Versa seems to be OK (The "dot sending out signals" is green). I also tried it when the Versa was in it's recharging station. Am I missing something?

Yes, I see no mention of the Phone? Or you using Bluetooth or WiFi?
Has WiFi on the Versa been setup?
If WiFi is both the phone and Versa on the same network?
Is the Versa plugged in and charging?
I know itsitnot much specific help, just some steps to check .

The phone is a Galaxy S9+.
I use Bluetooth to connect my Versa to my phone.
I notice that the WiFi on the Versa is acting a little strange. I can connect to the WiFi (the same as the one my phone connects to) in the app, but when I exit the WiFi settings and enter them again immediately, it takes a second or two for the WiFi symbol to toggle to "connected". This may however only be a visual glitch (but I'm not sure).
If I however go all the way back to the dashboard and resync, then the WiFi seem to disconnect (when I go back to the WiFi settings it doesn't turn on again, not even after waiting a while). When this happen, the WiFi network is still there, but I have to enter the password again and reconnect. I also tried to not go back to the dashboard, but instead press the "Update Tracker Software" at the top of the menu, but this just results in the original problem, as well as sometimes disconnecting the WiFi (But not always. Not sure of the pattern here), although that delay in toggling to connected when opening the WiFi settings is still present (and sometimes it is also longer).
The Versa is plugged in and charging during all of this.
