I can not finish the install process with the Versa on my Samsung Galaxy S9. I have been on chat with fitbit with 2 different Versa devices. It syns, wifi setup, but will not do the update to finish. The watch just keeps scrolling download the Fitbit app on your device. I deleted and reinstalled the fitbit app several times on my phone. I turned off the bluetooth after linking it. I restarted the phone and the watch both. I am at wits end. Please help!!!

I guess so.... after i sync the Fitbit to my phone, link my home wifi, it says that there is an update. The Fitbit logo just goes around and around on the watch with no progress. I can restart the fitbit holding the buttons, it just keeps saying download fitbit app in all languages. Never get the clock or anything

hi, in this case maybe this little guide I wrote can be helpfull for you. I finished my update within a small amount of time. Replace in this guide "My Versa" with "Your Versa". Good luck!!

Let me know how it goes!

Hi, two things:

1. Perform a Factory Reset. click the link and you will find all the information you need to do that and also that you need to setup your Versa all over again to your phone. The Factory Reset brings your Versa back to the "in the box" setting as being in the Factory. Advantage in this case and at this moment, is that when you've done that, whilst setting your Versa again, you will get autimatically the newest Firmware update.

2. If you do not want to do that, contact Customer Support.

Personally I would go for option number 1, but of course that's up to you.

I ended up deleting and reinstalling the fitbit app on my phone. I also held down the left button and right lower button at the same time to reset the watch. Then i went through the entire step again but did not sync the wifi, going through the bluetooth to phone instead. I left the watch laying ontop of the phone and it did finally go through the rest of the updating process to install the phone. Good luck!
