Can't add friends in any format

When I try to add Friends I get an error message, they also can't add me either, this is no good to me when this is one reason bought the Versa 2, I want to be able to compete with my friends in Challenges. The error message is the same for adding friends by email or username.

I'm not sure I understand your question.  I assume you're trying to add friends through the Fitbit app, correct?  What model OS do you have?

Sorry, I am on the latest Android and my phone is Samsung Galaxy 9, it's the Fitbit App Find Friends page, it can't  find my friends either by using the email or username way, I just get an error message all the time, and my friends can't find me either, I have uninstalled the App, turned off my phone then reinstalled the App but that hasn't changed anything, I am having the same problem on the website version as well
