Can’t change default email for notifications

I have a new Versa. I have an Android Note 8. The only email account that shows under notifications to select from is gmail. I use several email accounts. I would like to be able to switch between them...business emails during the day, personal account etc.as needed. App notifications are turned on in phone settings. I have closed and re opened the FITBIT app, I have rebooted the phone. 

I get notifications on on my phone for all my email accounts. I can switch between messaging apps and calendars...why does only gmail show up as the only email app that will give me a notification on my watch?

You can only get email notifications from the default email program. You can get them from multiple email apps on your phone because the apps are actually on your phone.

I understand that..perhaps I should have asked...how can I change the default email? The email account offered when I signed up was only gmail. Gmail is not the email account that I used to log in to Fitbit.com...so where did that choice come from and why cant I change it?

I have the same issue.  My defaults to my Gmail account but my main email I use is a Comcast email.  Cannot figure out how to change the default because it only gives me the Gmail option.

I just contacted Fitbit regarding this problem.  Apparently Gmail is the only choose at this time.  but supposedly you can go into the mobile app to :

"We do appreciate you in contacting us about this. Before we proceed with the return process, we'd like to inform that aside from the default email notification, there's an option to add an "App Notifications" instead wherein you can enable the email app installed on your phone and receive its notification.
You may enabled it by tapping the account tab > choose your watch's name > notifications > app notifications > scroll down and mark check the email app to receive its notification."

I did this.   it still doesnt let me know i have emails

I cannot add the AOL email for my notification.  I would like to remove the g-mail default notification, but I cannot do this.

I have added my msn account imto the gmail app amd can get SOME of my email.  still not a good deal.  if I get a new email from gmail and a new email from the msn account, the gmail comes thru to versa but it ignores the msn email   still not idieal
