Can't change exercise distance cues

I wear a Versa. I would like to have a cue from the app after each .5 mile of running, but it won't let me make that change.  When I go into the exercise part of the app and change the cue frequency to 0.5 miles, the app crashes.  It will allow any other change in this area, just not a change to 0.5 mile cues.  I've tried making this change on the computer and then syncing, but the change doesn't sync to my phone.  How can I fix this.

I have worn a Fitbit for years - have had the Versa version for several months. I have always used the .5 mile exercise cues. I start my exercise manually. Just in the last few weeks the Fitbit went to 1.0 mile cues and no matter what I do will not go back. When I change the setting back to .5 mile cues, the app closes every time and will not save. Frustrating!
