Can't change my start date back to the original date, but current weight changes back

This is a new problem I'm having.  What I like to do is make smaller goals in 5 or 10 pound increments.  Just feels like I'm accomplishing something that way.  So, I want to keep my original start date with that weight, and then just change my weight amount goal each time.  That way I can see my total pounds lost, and not see ALL the weight I still have to lose.  Just my next mini-goal.  I've been doing this for awhile and never had a problem.  Suddenly this is not working.  I change the date, and it jumps right back to the current date, then when I go back to my log, I notice the weight changed on the date that I was trying to choose initially.  Now my whole log is screwed up because if I stopped on a particular date on the wheel, it changed the weight that was initially logged.  This is definitely a fitbit issue, and so incredibly frustrating.  I really wish someone at fitbit would fix this bug.  I think this started since the last update. I use this as a motivational tool, so this is extremely upsetting.  I hope someone can help me fix this problem.  Thank you.
