Can’t clear steps even after factory reset... twice

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My friend gave me her Fitbit yesterday and Even though I reset it,  it shows 11K+ steps for yesterday. I never had it on yesterday. I did a factory reset again today and those steps still show. I have cleared, disconnected, and followed all suggestions. On the Fitbit.com dashboard it shows the steps in number and on the app it shows the steps on the graph. On Fitbit.com, when I go to the log, there are no activities logged, the graph is blank yet the total number of steps still shows 11K+

How can I reset this? It will forever throw off the numbers.... what, then, is the point?

The tracker is not going to show your steps for yesterday @lcanjar

I think you are looking at the Fitbit app and no resetting of the tracker will help once the data is in your account.

Was a factory reset done before you setup the tracker?

Out side of marking yesterday as driving, their isn't much that can be done.
