Can't connect Versa 2 to Galaxy J5 Pro Compatibility

I have passed on my 3 button Versa 2 to my partner after I purchased a new Versa 4.

We are unable to get his Sam Galaxy J5 Pro phone to find the Versa 2 during ADD function.

The phone can manually find the Versa 2 via Bluetooth connection and pair with it but Fitbit app never finds it,

Have factory reset Versa 2 and loaded Fitbit app several times with no success.

Can anyone confirm that this phone is compatible.

Hi @FranceneP  which Versa do you have? You posted in the Other Versa forum area, label is Versa 3 and you mentioned a Versa 4.

Thanks for your prompt reply. Just to clarify - I have just set up my new Versa 4 on SG S10 phone no probs.

Have passed my old Versa 2 ( 3 buttons ) to my husband who is unable to get his SG J5 Pro to find the Versa 2 - just says 'searching'  forever.

He can manually find the Versa 2 with Bluetooth app on phone and pair with it ok but Fitbit app obviously needs to do this itself.

Have done all of the usual reload Fitbit app, factory reset on watch and restarts etc but nothing changes.

My concern is that this phone may not be compatible - does that mean that you get this problem or that watch will still work but some functionality is lost ??

He only needs if for basic watch functions, text alerts etc.
