Can't connect Versa with my headphones

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi Fitbit fam, so I bought these Bluetooth earbuds and I had paired them with my Fitbit to make sure they connect, but I didn’t have any music on it. So when I finally was able to download all my pandora stations to my versa, I go to connect my headphones to enjoy some music and they won’t pair. Keeps saying they can’t find my headphones but my phone connects perfectly fine. Please help!

@CristalN03 I am not sure which earbuds you have. It may be the case of either - either. You may not be able to have them paired with both your phone and Versa. Unless you have Flyer which can support 2 devices. Let's try this:

  1. Forget the earbuds in your phone's bluetooth settings.
  2. Remove the earbuds from Versa's bluetooth settings according to the instructions here and reboot your Versa by pressing and holding the left and bottom right buttons until Fitbit logo flashes
  3. Put your earbuds in the pairing mode (according to your earbuds' manual) and follow these instructions to pair them with Versa.

@CristalN03 It's great to see you in our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear that your headphones are not pairing properly. I would like to follow up and would like to know if the issue persists or if the issue got resolved after following the great troubleshooting steps that shared my friend @Marrrmaduke.

@CristalN03 Try rebooting Versa several times by pressing and holding the left and bottom right buttons until Fitbit logo flashes, then pairing with your earbuds again. Could you share the model of your earphones? Also, can Versa see any audio devices? Perhaps you have a bluetooth speaker that you could test with Versa?

The earbuds that I have are tzumi soundmate by Walmart and it would see the device but not connect to it. Yes it does see other Bluetooth devices just doesn’t connect. When I first tried to pair the versa with my earbuds it worked but only once. Then I tried to after I got music on it and it didn’t work.

@CristalN03 I think at this point it would be good to test your Versa with other audio Bluetooth device. If it doesnt connect to speakers etc, then I'm afraid you might have to reset it to factory defaults and start from scratch. It's a hassle that's why I would recommend testing other alternatives first.

@CristalN03 As @Marrrmaduke mentioned, please try other Bluetooth audio earbuds and repeat the connection process.

The factory reset steps that my @Marrrmaduke mentioned above, can be done as follow here: Settings app > About Factory Reset or Clear User Data. Finally, try connecting your earbuds again.
