Can't connect a debit card to my Versa's wallet

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have had my versa for less than a week. I'm trying to add my first card to the wallet - a Chase debit card.

It says that card is not eligible,  but Chase is listed in the banks.

I then tried with capital one and a credit union with no luck either.

How can I add a card to my versa?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @SugarFemme23.

I am sorry to hear about the difficulties you're experiencing with adding a Chase debit card to the Wallet. Thank you for your efforts to resolve this and sharing that you receive the same error when trying to add other cards. I understand that you've confirmed already that your cards should work with Fitbit Pay at the Supported Banks and Transit List.

I recommend confirming the steps to set up Fitbit Pay: How do I set up Fitbit Pay? Please also make sure that you are entering the card and billing details exactly as they are written on your card and bank statement.

Let me know how it goes!

Hi, im having the same issue.  Ive tried everything, reinstalling the app and resetting the watch.   I have the Ionic.  My chase cards don't work despite the fact that Chase is a participating bank.  It keeps saying error.   It seems you guys are having a technical issue with Chase?? I tried another card with a different bank but didn't get an error message. Its only Chase.  Are you aware of this issue with Chase??

I'm also getting the same issue only with my Chase debit and credit card. Tried Capital One and it worked just fine.

Ok.  At least I know it wasn't me.  I contacted fitbit about the issue and they said the technical team is looking into it

@SunsetRunner When you added the Capital One card was it a debit (Mastercard) or a credit card?

I'm having problems adding my Capital One Debit card to Fitbit wallet.

Not sure if this will be the same for Capital one, but worth looking at...

I had a really frustrating time with similar issue. I couldn't add my existing santander debit card at all. Tried everything.

I then looked on my santander app and noticed it had an image of the debit card ( menu, cards) this showed a different card number ending to my current debit card.

My existing card was due to be replaced in 2 months but they had already changed the details.

So when i was trying to add my existing card it never matched the new card details on my account.

New card arrived today  registered without a glitch!!! Banks fault, not fitbit it seems!
