Can't connect my Versa 3 to my phone anymore

Hi.

Just having problems re connecting my versa 3 to my phone.

Have fully charged and have left connected to the charger and tried to attach via Bluetooth but device cannot be found.

Have followed all info given online including deleting or unjnstalling the app from my phone and re installing but still no joy.

Any other ideas or is it maybe a fault on the watch?

Hi there, @DSDDREW. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 3 is still not connecting to your phone. I will do my best to help you with this!

To better assist you, please confirm whether you've tried all the steps below in the order listed:

  • Unpair your Fitbit device from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Fitbit device.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Fitbit device.
  • Once your Fitbit device is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again. 


With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Versa 3 first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.

Mine won't connect either. Hasn't for days now, and it doesn't seem to be tracking my sleep anymore either! I did the troubleshooting Maria suggests here, but it hasn't fixed anything. I am distinctly unhappy, since I have time blindness and sleep tracking is the main reason I even got a Fitbit.

My Fitbit versa 3 has not automatically synchronized with my phone for 2 years. I'm used to it now!!! I synchronize it myself. It would be better if the side touch button was not broken!!!
