Can't download Spotify on my Versa

I am unable to download spotify app it is asking for an update on my fitbit app or watch and rest all apps are downloading simply what to do?

@SunsetRunner welcome to our Fitbit Community! Regarding the Spotify app download difficulties that you are experiencing, the information that requested @Rich_Laue will help us to determine the cause of the issue.

 

Make sure that your phone has the most recent Fitbit app version installed. If the app is up to date, try logging out of the Fitbit app, restart your phone, open the app and log in. Finally, try adding Spotify again as described in this post.

 

Keep me posted on the outcome.

May i ask what phone model you have? And what version is you fitbit app at?

I’m having the same exact issue. I have an iPhone 10max and did all the same steps to try to download Spotify but with no luck.

I am having the same issue: navigate to the Spotify app, and the "install" button is greyed out.

I replicated the steps in this post and it did not fix the issue. Are there other steps I can take to be able to download the Spotify app on my Fitbit Versa?

(Yes, the fitbit app is up to date and there is no updates to install).

followed al other steps listed. Logged out. Restarted phone. Everything is updated. Help please!

I am having the same issue but it's not just Spotify. Some clock faces are giving me the same message. Everything is up to date. My versa updated when I set it up this morning. I also updated my app. WiFi is set up and I checked my permission and they are fine.

I was just on the phone with Fitbit support for about 20 mins, and they are rolling out new updates soon that will allow you to download the app to your watch. If you have any other questions I would call them, they helped me a lot!

Ive been having the exact same problem with my brand new versa! I did all the steps and nothing is working. It says my Fitbit or my phone app aren’t up to date which they both are. Please if anyone gets updates, post them:)

Same issue here with the App being greyed out on a brand new Versa, I suspect it is because the watch firmware/software is out of date? Listed as 33.1.30 (The App and Phone OS are the lastest).

Edit: Live Chat Support confirmed that it is availble to Fitbit OS 4.0 and above. Annoying I havent yet been "chosen" to receive this update.

I had this same issue but now I have downloaded HR for Spotify  and it works. Just install HR for Spotify and go into setting then log into your Spotify account. When you go onto the Spotify app on your phone you can then go on this app and it will connect to your phone.

With xmas just yesterday there seems to be an influx of Versa / Spotify not working msg's being added. Like most i'm having this phenomena happen with my new Versa as well. Based on what i've read via the forums you just have to patient and wait for the FW 4.0.2 to be pushed to your device in order to d/l Spotify and use it.

I tried This as well; Logging out of the app, Restarting my phone, logging back in and it still doesn’t work.

I just got the versa lite and I updated everything as I set it up and I've tried restarting everything, everything is up to date. I still can't get Spotify on it and this is why I got this model

Same here. I have the app but when I log in, the log in doesn't register.

I actually got promoted for FW update tonight now running 70.7.14. I was
then able to download the Spotify app and run it successfully.

I was just recently able to get Spotify on my Fitbit versa lite!
I contacted Fitbit and they said it was just updates on their end, not just
ours. You can have your Fitbit and app and phone all updated, but they were
not on the same...forgive me I forgot what they said but they were not
functioning on the same platform yet. I have it on now!
